Logan Strader is a 2024 MIF/RHP with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Virginia Beach, VA who attends Salem. Strader works from a young projectable build with plenty of room to fill out and add strength to the frame. As a primary MIF, he showcased accurate throws across the diamond from a compact arm action that released quickly and efficiently. He flashed range to the glove side and made plays asked of him, topping out at 74 mph. On the mound, Strader worked out of the stretch with a chest high leg lift, hiding the ball effectively with deception in the operation. He released from a high 3/4 slot, successfully sequencing the FB/CB arsenal with solid 11-5 shape on the breaker for swing and miss. Topped out at 77 mph. Offensively, the righty started from a narrow base with hover to the leg trigger and natural lift in the bat path that generated impact to all parts of the field. Contact tool is evident with power continuing to develop in the future. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
