2022 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Evan Biddle is a 2023 RHP/IF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Salem, NJ who attends Salem. Recorded a 7.14 second sixty-yard dash time. Larger, well-proportioned frame with long levers and plenty of projection remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup delivery with coiled leg lift and good stride length down the slope. Fastball worked in the low-80s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 85 mph in this look from an over-the-top arm slot. Showed developing command of the strike zone due to inconsistent release point that will improve with proper adjustments to his arm circle. Mixed in sharp 11-5 breaking ball at times for swings-and-misses, while mimicking release on a promising changeup. Tons of upside remaining on the mound with refinements mechanically and velocity projection. Secondary infielder with deliberate actions into the fielding process, a clean funnel out in front and some lateral range to both sides. Corner infielder profile with accurate throws up to 79 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even based stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Incorporates deep, wrapped hand loading mechanism and rotational lower half mechanics to swing going. Whole field approach with solid feel for the barrel and tons of strength at impact, creates good leverage out in front and exhibits plenty of future power potential. Big-bodied, athletic prospect with upside on both sides of the ball, will continue to improve with added strength and minor refinements to his skill set. Excellent Student. Named to the 2022 Perfect Game Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
