Jack Stowers is a 2023 C/1B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Mobile, AL who attends St. Paul's Episcopal. Ran a 7.59 second sixty. Primary catcher with a large strong build. Receives the ball away from the body gaining ground as he transfers close to the chest staying in his legs as he gets to the throwing position with a short arm action recording a 2.07 second pop time with solid carry to the base. Right-handed hitter, starts with a slightly open stance using. simple stride to get back to even. Shows good intent to the swing path while staying to the inside part of the ball and driving the ball well to the pull side when the bat head it out on time. Excellent student.
