Kennedy Cooper Jr. is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Statesboro, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Long and lean primary outfielder that can run a little bit with a 6.96 second sixty yard dash. He uses his long strides to glide after balls in the outfield with pretty good routes and arm strength at 85 mph on throws. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a good feel on the bump. Fastball was up to 79 mph with heavy run and arm-side sink. Works quick and efficiently to both sides of the plate with fastball command out of a high slot with downward plane. Curveball was in the high-60s with 11/5 break and tight spin. Athletic actions on the bump and also in the box, with lightning quick hands and good barrel awareness. He is pretty direct to the ball with his hands and whips the barrel through the zone. The right-handed hitter got on top of a mid-80s high fastball and ripped it into the left-center gap. His long strides were on display as he cruised into third for a stand up triple. He starts with a wide base in the box and then shifts to the backside, creating torque in the lower half and uses his tall frame to leverage the baseball at contact. Outstanding student with a 3.5 GPA.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
