Jeffrey Grosso is a 2024 1B/3B with a 6-1 230 lb. frame from Waller, TX who attends Waller High School. Corner build. In the infield, glove works well through the ball at times. Not a ton of lateral ability, delivers acurate throws across the diamond. At first base, works direct to the baseball with soft hands. Moves well around the bag, sets his feet to fire accurate strikes to both bases. At the plate, he stood out in a big way across both days of in game work. The big physical corner infielder sets up with wide base working into a deep load. The swing is timed up well with quality extension to impact. Long level swings with constant feel to barrel. The strength at impact stands out. 7.09 60-yard. Outstanding student. Named to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
