Casey Beelen is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Peachtree Ridge. Recorded a 7.25 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary Right-Handed pitcher with a medium, athletic build physically. Uses a side-rocker step into a high leg lift and remains online during his delivery. Coming from a high, over-the-top arm slot with shorter arm action, getting natural cut on his fastball. Filled up the strike zone in gameplay with command of both sides of the plate. Fastball ranged from 74-76 miles per hour while also showing feel for a change-up in the low-70s. Secondary outfielder, approaches aggressively but under control, and plays through the ball well with good footwork that can be choppy at times. Right-handed hitter with a balanced swing that remains on one linear plane, some power to pull side. Quiet lower half that could be used more in his swing. Projects more on the mound could see velocity tick with more incorporation of lower half. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
