Hudson Robbins is a 2026 C/RHP/1B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Saraland, AL who attends Saraland. Strong young build with lots more strength ahead of him. Right handed hitter, loads back and shifts well into contact, gets his strong lower half into his swing, has some hand quickness and develops bat speed, gap to gap power with more to come, has good rhythm to his swing and projects very well offensively. 8.34 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has good hands receiving the ball and hand quickness in his exchange, nice arm strength on his throws, will have to continue to work on his lower half athleticism and quickness as he gets bigger and stronger. Also worked out in the infield and outfield and showed his arm strength well there but profiles best as a catcher moving forward. Took a turn on the mound, tall delivery over the rubber with a high leg lift and good hip turn over the rubber, compact arm action in back with a high 3/4's to almost overhand slot out from, pulls down hard with his front side. Fastball topped out at 75 mph early out of the windup, mostly straight, went to his downer curveball often and landed the pitch well. Good student. Named to the 13U/14U Sunshine Gulf Coast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
