Declan Brown is a 2022 OF/ with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends O'Dea. Recorded a 7.48 second sixty-yard dash time. Smaller, compact frame with some lean strength throughout. Primary outfielder with quick twitch athleticism and aggressive actions into the fielding process. Displayed clean funnel off his front foot, while gathering cleanly and maintaining momentum into release. Smooth, easy transfer into the throwing motion, recorded arm strength up to 80 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, slightly open stance with a exaggerated high hand set, high back elbow and small hover trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics and quick hands to turn the barrel with authority. Shorter swing path that gets in-and-out of the hitting zone quickly, causing some timing issues and consistent bat-to-ball skills. Lofted stroke with intent that flashed some power potential when in-sync, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
