Yovani Lamarche is a 2023 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Barbara Goleman. Ran a 8.19 60 yard dash. In his lone inning of work on the mound he showcased a fastball with some sink to it at 76 mph and a curveball that was his out pitch at 64 mph. He has some deception to his delivery with rotating his back slightly to the hitter which allowed him to hide the ball well and strike out the side with his swing and miss curve. At first base he has a long arm action like on the mound and had the ability to change his arm slots. At the plate he has a slightly closed stance with a gap to gap approach, his strength allows him to swing easy and still hit the ball hard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
