Jax Lathem is a 2027 C/RHP/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends The Heritage. Medium frame with a lean athletic build. Ran an 8.09 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, sound receiver and athletic setup, confident working through the ball, clean exchange and accurate to the bag, good upside as a whole. Pitches too, up to 77 with the fastball and gets short cut to it, bigger downer curveball and showed feel for a changeup, struggled some with strikes but has feel for 3 pitches that project. Right-handed hitter, wide base to start and athletic in setup, short and quick swing with good strength and lift to path, lifts it consistently and creates good impact, works to both gaps and has easy things that project.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
