Ryan LaBorde is a 2023 C/2B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Summer Creek. Medium frame with a lean athletic build. Ran a 7.25 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, slightly turned setup and works hard up through the ball, receives hard out front and gains some ground into release, easy release and projects with more strength. Right-handed hitter, even base and short leg lift trigger with a clean load on the back side; short hand path through the zone with some length to the barrel path, loose and easy finish with good extension, doesn't have to sell out to get the barrel out and shows consistency to the middle of the field, line drive approach and will project to better impact with more use of the lower half and added strength. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
