LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2022 Nashville Prospect Showcase
Nayland Patton is a 2026 1B/3B, OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Villa Rica, GA who attends Douglas County. Nayland shows some good feel for footwork around the bag at first. His speed and agility are limited but he shows some flashes. Needs to increase reactions and agility to show improvements. In the box Nayland keeps his hands low but shows good lower half load. He gets the bat on plane but contact is just ok. Not a lot of power behind it right now. Needs to add strength to body as a whole to keep development moving forward.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
