2021 Sunshine West Showcase
Aidan Jensen is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-2 179 lb. frame from Simi Valley, CA who attends Royal High School. Lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Has a smooth well paced delivery with a medium length arm action, keeps his front side closed well and is on time and directional down the mound with a short stride out front. Fastball worked in the low 70's and topped out at 74 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side life. Secondary pitch was a slow sweeping curveball, was able to throw strikes with both pitches and challenge hitters in the zone. 8.37 runner in the sixty. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with an upper body back lean to start his swing, fires his hands hard and is an aggressive hitter, pull side contact for the most part. Excellent student.
