Michael Smith is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-7 110 lb. frame from Glencoe, KY who attends Owen County. He has a medium frame with a slender build that has plenty of room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.12 seconds. Primary outfielder that fields the ball with two hands off to the side of his body. He has a shorter arm action with a clean stroke that allows him to be accurate to the base when he stays in line with the target. Secondary right-handed pitcher that has a knee to above the belt leg kick and works in line with the plate well. He throws with the same short arm action on the mound that he did in the outfield and fires from a 3/4 arm slot. He does a nice job of repeating his motion and was in the zone consistently, making quick work of his one inning on the mound. Right-handed hitter that starts in a slightly narrow and upright stance with an even hand set and a low back elbow. He uses a simple stride for timing and keeps his hands inside the ball well. He has a flat bat path that allows him to hit line drives to all parts of the field. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
