Alex Harwood is a 2024 3B/1B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Richmond Hill, GA who attends Richmond Hill. Extra tall and lean frame with solid muscularity and excellent projection. Primary position corner IF, moving well on his feet during reps. Glove work was firm but accurate and can be refined with time, secured the ball well. Good feel around the bag and played angles properly. Long arm path to over the top angle creating solid throws up the 75 mph across the diamond. RHH working from a tall, narrower stance and setting his hands high above the strike zone. Bigger leg lift to gather energy and get process started. Was a bit steep to the ball initially but as the round progressed was able to get barrel on plane and really show his leverage. When synched up he showed good loft, hitting balls through the gaps and showing real power projection. Physical size is very intriguing and it will be fun to watch development in the coming months. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
