Christian Maeder-Baldwin is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Grapevine, TX who attends Colleyville Heritage. Long, lanky frame with a slender build, long levers and room to add strength. Recorded a 7.65 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with a lower leg lift into balance and medium stride length. Fastball worked in the upper-70s to low-80s for the majority of his outing with natural arm-side life to it, topped out at 82 mph from a loose three-quarters arm slot. Deceptive delivery with tons of moving parts coming at the hitter. Mixed in high spin breaking ball with varying shape and mimicked changeup as secondary offerings. Breaking ball is sharp when thrown with conviction and has swing-and-miss potential. Secondary outfielder with fundamentally sound footwork throughout the fielding process. Fields cleanly off his front foot, gathers efficiently and produced accurate throws up to 83 mph during drills. Projectable, long and lean frame with more velocity in the tank and good feel for spin. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
