Joel Collado is a 2023 C/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Stratford, CT who attends Notre Dame Catholic. Medium athletic build with good present strength. 7.51 runner in the sixty. Has a quick and mobile lower half on defense behind the plate, comes out of his crouch well and gains ground on his throws, good arm strength with on line carry, has the physical tools to keep improving defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a high back elbow load and a hanging leg lift load, has good raw bat speed, back elbow and front leg get mistimed on occasional, works the middle of the field. Good student.
