Brayden Duane is a 2026 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Arundel, ME who attends Thornton Academy. Long, lean and athletic looking frame with tons of room to add strength and physically mature. Primary catcher that received from a higher side-saddled stance with deliberate actions and a lower mid-line transfer. Gains ground out of the crouch and delivered accurate throws to the right side of the bag. Developing arm strength up to 66 mph that will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and additional strength. Secondary third baseman with developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate footwork and some range to field cleanly out in-front, slightly elongated process into release. Uses segmented arm action to throw and recorded arm strength up to 72 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Intent based swing with limited weight shift into contact and rotational lower half mechanics. Short, compact swing path with some strength in his hands and developing bat speed. Flashed some pullside power potential when on-time, will continue to improve with more lower half usage and proper swing adjustments. Fundamentally sound tools with tons of upside as he continues to physically mature. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
