2022 Western Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Daniel Luko is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Murrysville, PA who attends Franklin Regional. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. 6.93 runner in the sixty. Very aggressive and athletic through the ball in the oufield, lots of energy into his throws, athletic enough to hold it all together, good arm strength and carry to his throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a wider slightly open stance with a hanging leg lift load out front, can get stuck on his backside at times, has very quick hands starting his swing and develops good bat speed with a line drive swing plane, pull side to mid field contact, has the bat speed and twitch to continue to improve as a hitter with more consistency. Took a turn on the mound, works from full wind up with a slow and deliberate pace, high 3/4's arm slot, did a nice job of throwing strikes and working ahead in counts. Primary fastball pitcher, topped out at 81 mph with the ability to work both sides and to work over barrels up in the zone. Still developing feel for his curveball arm speed and release. Good athlete who plays with energy. Very good student. Named to the Western Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
