Justin Lopez is a 2026 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Chino Hills, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Smaller young athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base and a turned in front shoulder, aggressive lower half shift into contact that is always on time, has fast hands and creates bat speed, versatile swing that can drive the ball to all fields, squared up everything in the games, advanced hitter. 7.45 runner in the sixty, speed played up in the games due to his aggressiveness on the bases. Primary middle infielder on defense, has quick hands and fields the ball cleanly, loose and quick lower half actions, works behind and uder the ball well, loose arm with some carry on his throws. Also pitched, has a quick and compact delivery with a short 3/4's arm stroke, repeats his delivery well. Fastball topped out at 83 mph with some running life. Curveball showed good 11/5 depth at times, dropped his slot a bit on his change up but got nice fading life. Threw strikes with all three pitches and competed hard. Ball player type actions with very good game skills. Excellent student.
