Aiden Taylor is a 2024 OF/1B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Woods. He has a good frame with long arms and legs with room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.06 seconds. He is a primary outfielder that has an aggressive approach and fields the ball out front. He has a longer arm motion that has some stiffness, so loosening up the motion will help to add more velocity to his throws. He starts with a slightly open stance and in a semi-crouch in the box. He uses a toe tap as a timing mechanism and a way of shifting his weight back. He displays quick hands that create plenty of bat speed that he pairs with a swing path that creates plenty of natural loft. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
