Pierce Pilcher is a 2024 C/OF with a 6-1 148 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Memorial. He has a tall, slender frame with long limbs and is still growing into his body. He ran the sixty yard dash in 7.71 seconds. He is a primary catcher that receives from a slightly staggered stance. He does a nice job receiving the ball with two hands, making the transfer on his throws easier. Covers ground towards second on his throws. In the batter's box he swings from the left side and starts with a narrow, open stance. He uses a simple load and stride for timing purposes. His swing features a flat path and he showed the ability to get the barrel out front and turn on baseballs on the inner half. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
