Gavin Greene is a 2028 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Blessed Trinity Cath. Medium, athletic build with present strength and more to project. Right-handed hitter, narrow base with hands set right around the shoulder, long stride out into contact, easy strength coming off the barrel. Level path through the zone and creates separation in the hands, performed well at the plate in game action. Primary catcher, lower side saddled setup, receives well in game action. Athletic out of the crouch with quick transfers and gets the ball to second quickly, good arm strength, recorded throws up to 73 mph and a pop-time of 2.11. Ran a 7.93 60-yard dash. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works with a solid tempo and pounded the zone with a three pitch mix. Athletic down the slope with ability to change slot and timing. Ran the fastball up to 80 mph, sat in the upper-70s throughout (2033 RPM). Mixed in a curveball, up to 65 mph (2084 RPM) and also flashed a changeup, up to 66 mph (1157 RPM). Tremendous student.
