Trevin Garner is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Chapin, SC who attends Chapin. High-waisted, slender build with tons of physical projection remaining to be added. 7.10-second runner during the sixty. Primary outfielder, fields off his front foot with a deep funnel as he works aggressively to the ball. Quick release from a compact arm stroke, accurate throws to the bases, up to 78 mph showcasing some arm strength. Solid glove actions. Secondary right handed pitcher, full wind up, landing more towards the third base side of the mound, cross firing as he comes from an over-the-top arm slot. Uses his long levers to create some downhill plane on his fastball. Fastball sat in the mid-70s with more velocity left in the tank as he adds muscle. Pounded the zone, generating weak contact throughout his outing. Continuing to develop feel for his breaking ball, displayed slurvey shape to it with loose spin. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an even, balanced stance and a high-hand set. Downhill swing plane that worked short through extension, flashing some impact to the pull side when on time with a slight, leg-lift-trigger. Developing feel for the barrel and will continue to keep improving as he refines swing mechanics. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
