Rhys Jones is a 2026 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Spain Park. Features a smaller-sized build with present athleticism. In the INF, displayed strong defensive actions. Showed light feet that play well through, laterally and in rhythm. Soft/sure hands at reception with some quickness in the funnel/transfer especially on DP turns. Used a shorter arm action that got off throws with some effort and avg. strength for his level. At the plate, showed a simple/balanced swing operation. Loads early but with minimal moving parts. Smaller leg lift trigger with an upright barrel at launch. Hands stay inside the baseball well. More of a short/direct barrel entry that works more uphill into contact. Flashes above avg. hand/bat speed at times shown with some quality impact on deep FBs to the pullside.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
