2023 High School All State Select Championship (2024-2025 Grads)
Patrick Sido is a 2025 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Springfield, VA who attends West Springfield. Solid size with good present strength. 7.17 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has good fundamentals, fields the ball cleanly off his front foot, maintains his momentum and balance through his throws, clean overall actions and makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a pre-loaded swing with a deep hand start, spread and slightly open, downhill swing plane, swing can get over mechanical at times, would benefit from using his strength and letting the barrel go. Also took a turn on the mound, left handed thrower, has a full arm stroke in back leading to a 3/4's arm slot, good direction down the mound. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, mostly straight, also threw a soft curveball. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
