Sam Vandrey is a 2023 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Amissville, VA who attends Rappahannock Co. From the infield, Vandrey showed the ability to change arm slots with smooth transitions and solid range. He attacked the ball aggressively and flashed arm strength across the diamond. Vandrey works out of a young build with room to add muscle to the frame. Starting from a spread stance offensively, he showcased a level bat path with consistent contact to the pull side. Vandrey displayed compact hands through the zone from a quick trigger load. Ran a 7.22 60 yard dash.
