2022 13U/14U Southwest Showcase
Jayden Goldman is a 2026 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Santee, CA who attends Santana. Posted a 7.86 in the 60. Primary 1B is a very projectable build with some upside present in his tools and a lot of potential to tap into ahead. He showed good intent on the play working downhill while the young frame develops control in his actions. Very playable arm that will progress smoothly, utilizes a low slot well with good turns and carries on the bag. In the outfield he showed off versatility with great awareness and fluid actions downhill. Clean arm actions transfer here with ability to utilizes a higher slot with strength to project on. On the mound the right-hander was up to 75 showing a developing three pitch mix. Utilizes a stretch operation, has some younger tendencies downhill he should refine effectively as he matures. Arm action is loose with some whip in the release to sync in the delivery. His CH was the better secondary offering creating good fade and sink action with plane. Right-handed hitter floats forward with intent to pull with impact. He flashed good present strength playing best to pull side. Progressing body control displayed great potential to advance.
