Cannon Davis is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Amarillo, TX who attends Amarillo. Long and lean, athletic body with good room to fill out. Ran a 6.69 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, deliberate approach to the ball, has the athleticism to get to the spot and field it out front, gets through it hard and releases from short arm actions, low and accurate throws to bags. Also pitches, stretch delivery, works smooth through the process, quick arm and hides it well, releases from over the top and gets into the low-80s with the fastball, has some shape to the breaking ball at 12-to-6 that'll project. Righthanded hitter, balanced base and simple process, has a loose and whippy swing with good intent to work linear through the zone, gets good separation and extension and will run into some strong impact but will get more as he engages the lower half and body as a whole more. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
