Otto Smith is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Ferndale, MI who attends University Of Detroit Jesuit. Large frame with projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.61 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with high back elbow, drops hands into barred load, length to stroke flatter plane, whole-field approach. Worked out in the outfield, quickness to feet, fields out front, max effort release, clocked up to 77 mph on throws. Also pitched, long arm stroke through the back with developing arm speed, fastball worked 68-71 mph from 3/4 slot. Excellent student.
