Ryan Allen is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Greensboro, NC who attends Southeast Guilford. Nice and rangy athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread no stride stance with a heel lift trigger, has quick hands, maintains his balance well and can drive the ball to all fields, flashed his power to the pull side but also lined some balls the other way, very direct to the ball, should translate well to the next level. 7.23 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has athletic actions with good feet and nice routes to the ball, made all the plays in the workouts and games, enough arm strength. Also pitched, works from a full wind up with a short takeaway and a high 3/4's arm slot, gets down the mound well. Threw strikes with an upper 70's fastball to go with a soft curveball and firm change up, more velocity in there. Good student, verbal commitment to North Carolina A&T. Named to the Sunshine Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
