Kade Smith is a 2023 3B/RHP, IF, OF, UT with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Searcy, AR who attends Harding Academy. A bigger and more physical frame with strength clearly showing in the frame. Ran a 7.05 60-yard dash. Primary corner infielder who funnels well, allowing the glove to play and work into the throws. Was accurate to the bag with throws across at 90 mph. Also worked out in the outfield taking clean routes to the ball with intent to his actions. Had a solid round of throws, carrying the throws to the bag at 90 mph with accuracy. A right-handed hitter with a widespread stance and even/on-line setup. Shows off the lower half strength with his swing, rotates through contact with intent, and was able to piece together a great round of BP. Hands are set high with the back elbow up. Has a small stride with quickness to the hands showing. Was able to work uphill to the ball and show the ability to lift it. Had strength showing during his round. Produced a 91 mph exit velocity. Barreled the ball up well in games as well, had a mammoth home run and a loud double to the deepest part of the park. Also took to the mound, working 83 -87 mph on the fastball. Worked out of the stretch only but pounded the zone. His fastball had some sink to it as well. Replicated the arm action on a harder changeup to be able to fool hitters. Also showed a vertical breaking ball with some bite to it. He threw strikes and commanded both sides of the plate. Punched out 4 hitters over 2 clean innings of work in his outing on the mound. Excellent student. University of Arkansas Razorbacks commit.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
