Athan Kroll is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Brighton, CO who attends Valor Christian. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Has a slow to fast delivery, not much hip turn or lower half torque at present, lands on line out front, 3'4's arm slot, can extend better out front. Fastball worked mostly in the upper 80's and touched 91 mph, mostly straight, has more effort on his fastball release than on his secondary pitches. Throws a short and soft slider as his breaking ball, created lots of horizontal life on his change up. Works down in the zone and was most effective when he was mixing his pitches. Ran a 6.61 in the sixty. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Dallas Baptist.
