Michael Joseph is a 2023 C, 1B/3B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Lothian, MD who attends Archbishop Spalding HS. Recorded a 7.77 second 60-yard dash time. Length in frame with strength, plenty of room to grow as well. Primary catcher with slightly angled stance, gains ground well to target, pop time of 2.00 seconds. Showed strength in arm with carry on throws, ball tended to fade to his arm side. Right-handed hitter with a narrow upright stance and a quick swing. There is strength in the hands with the tendency to cut off swing when ball is mistimed. Deceleration early in swing with recoil, swing looks best with an up-the-middle approach. Fantastic student.
