Kevin Prieto is a 2027 1B/LHP/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Palmer Trinity. Medium frame with some present strength for his age. 7.75 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, moves well and has an active lower half, some arm strength across the diamond and was accurate on his throws, has good athleticism for the position. Also worked out in the outfield and was aggressive to the ball and got rid of it quickly, showed some arm strength and got on top of the ball well. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight base with a high hand load, tends to cast his hands out early to the ball, flashed some strength in his hands when he was direct to the ball, will continue to improve with adjustments and additional strength. Took a turn on the mound, works from a high leg raise start with lots of hand action into his arm swing, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 73 mph with some arm side life, showed good feel for throwing his fastball arm side and for strikes. Also worked in an occasional soft curveball and change up.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
