Jared Jenkins is a 2024 SS/RHP/3B/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends Calvary Christian Academy. Jenkins immediately impressed with his speed, posting a 6.74 sixty yard dash time. He worked exclusively from the OF, showcasing an aggressive approach to the baseball with a quick compact arm action. With added strength and maturity in the future, velocity will also increase. At the plate, Jenkins started from a closed stance with flashes of hands speed and lower half rotation. The switch hitter produced middle pull side contact from both boxes, generating backspin on the baseball with early power potential that should continue to develop. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
