Sam Kuhn is a 2025 SS/RHP, MIF, OF, UT with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Driftwood, TX who attends Veritas Academy. Primary shortstop with an athletic build. Moves well laterally with a quick first step. Gathers and transfers well to his chest. Will shuffle a bit and gain ground before releasing towards first. Made all throws with good accuracy on a line. Also worked from the outfield making throws on a line with accuracy. Charged with intent and used a small crow hop to make throws. Ran a 7.16 sixty. Right-handed hitter starts upright in the stance and open with a narrow base. Working up the middle and got good extension. Showed good rhythm to the swing and nearly left the yard during bp. Showed that he can turn on balls with authority. Power projects well. Good student.
