Benjamin Kennedy is a 2025 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Mendenhall, MS who attends Simpson Academy. Ran a 7.11 second sixty. Primary third baseman with a long athletic build showing some physicality in the lower half. Works fine to the ball receiving it out front with firm hands. Funnels the ball into the mid line working into the throws with a shuffle showing a longer arm actions with above average arm strength. Works from a quiet delivery using a slide step from the stretch with an aggressive lower half move to the plate. The arm works on a short track through the back to a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball comes out of the hand well at 79-84 mph, the slider compliments the fastball well with some har sweeping action. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base using small stride to trigger the swing. Worked best to the pull side with some strength at the point of contact that showed up in game action with multiple hits getting on plane early and staying through the ball. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine Gulf Coast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
