Cylis Proffitt is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Winchester, CA who attends Rancho Christian. Features a long, lean, athletic frame with room to add. Ran a 7.10 sixty yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows proper technique with quick footwork and lateral movement. Clean glove to the forehand and backhand. Works through the baseball towards the target. Quick arm and can throw from multiple angles while staying accurate across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a standard side step delivery. Even leg lift into a quarter turn with a drop and drive delivery showing good extension towards the plate. High three-quarter arm slot with short arm action and a slight crossfire delivery. Breaking ball has 11-5 shape with depth and he locates both pitches efficiently. Wide base at the plate with a low back elbow and takes a short stride to contact. Stays connected, swings with intent with an up the middle approach. Excellent Student.
