Bobby Torres is a 2024 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Mater Academy Lakes. Recorded a 7.08 sixty yard dash at the event. Tall, athletic frame with room to fill out and add strength. Primary infielder. Athletic defender. Profiles best at a corner infield spot currently. Glove work plays and showed some feel for the backhand. Big arm strength with developing accuracy. Secondary outfielder. Arm strength plays. Accurate throws. Footwork was good and helped him stay in rhythm overall. Sound mechanics. Took the mound to give some innings, more of a thrower than pitcher, currently. Threw strikes in the top half of the zone. Utilizes a slow-paced delivery, will continue to improve as he uses his lower half more actively on the mound. Fastball topped at 81 mph. Right-handed hitter. Low hands in the box. Creates quality separation in the box and length to his bat path. Strength in the barrel and carry off the bat during his round. Middle to opposite field approach. Launched a double over CF in game action. Good student. Named to the 2022 National Underclass Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
