2024 Jr. National Showcase
Chase Wilk is a 2026 1B/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Bishop Gorman. Big and strong athletic build with even more strength to come. Primary first baseman on defense, has polished footwork and actions around the bag, picks the ball well, solid fundamentals, made an athletic game catch going back, will be an asset defensively at first. Also worked out in the outfield but his arm strength is limited there. Rare right handed hitter/left handed thrower. Hits from an open stance with a toe tap into his swing, loads deep with a big barrel wrap start but is well timed and consistently gets the barrel to the ball, has strength and impact at contact and turns the barrel over well, hard pull side game contact. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
