Jacob Soto is a 2024 2B/RHP, SS, OF, UT with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Jackson, NJ who attends Jackson Memorial. Works from a compact frame with some present athleticism. Primary second baseman, attacks the baseball with urgency, displayed smooth glove actions with a segmented transfer, releases from a lower slot, delivered fairly accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 73 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes an abbreviated wind-up delivery, starts his operation from the first base side of the rubber, the hands stay at the mid-section throughout the windup, lifts the leg up to the belt, breaks into a shorter arm path, releases from a high three-quarters slot, works away from the mound a bit, filled up the zone with the fastball, showed short arm-side run and topped at 75 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even base with a high back elbow, utilizes a small leg lift trigger and flat hand path, opens up the front-side and gets extended a bit, produced several soft liners to the middle of the field, recorded an exit velocity of 72 mph. Ran a 7.33 sixty-yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
