Billy Meehan is a 2022 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Great Oak. Medium frame with a slender build and room to fill out in the future. Ran a 7.76 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary shortstop. Gets low to the ball while field out front and clean glove work. Quick transfers with a clean release getting the ball out. Soft and accurate carry across the diamond topping out at 72 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a wide base and high hand set. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Short path swinging the bat with intent. Flashes some extension out front through contact. Some carry off the barrel when working to the pull side of the field. Very good student as well.
