Mitchell Collins is a 2023 MIF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Bennington, NE who attends Creighton Prep. A smaller lean and athletic frame. Ran a 7.10 60-yard dash. A middle infielder with active feet working around and through the baseball. A quicker first step, moves laterally well to both directions, showed athletic and fluid glove work throughout the round and made throws across with above average arm strength and accuracy. A left-handed hitter with a sider base and slightly open stance at the plate. Showed a level bat path through the zone with average bat speed, pretty hard on the front side, really tries to get the barrel out front where he showed primary pull side impact. There's some ability in there with the bat, just needs to be refined. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
