Aaron Orozco is a 2025 C/1B, 3B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from West Palm Beach, FL who attends St Andrews. Tall and strong look, stands out physically. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, high hands and a high back elbow in the stance, knee lift trigger stride, lived on the barrel in the round, good bat speed and pull-side power. Ball comes off the barrel really easy and showed carry to both gaps. Performed well in game action too. Primary catcher, lower side-saddled setup, quick out of the crouch and a clean exchange, compact arm action and gets the ball out of the hand quickly. Downhill angle on throws, good arm and accuracy around the bag, recorded throws up to 78 mph and a pop-time of 2.00. Secondary right-handed pitcher, short side step into a smaller leg lift to balance, loose arm action to a high three-quarters slot. Fastball comes out of the hand well with carry up in the zone, ran it into the mid-80s. Three pitch mix with a fading changeup in the low-70s and a depthy curveball in the upper-60s. Good student. Verbal commitment to Baylor. Named to 2023 Fall Top Prospect National Showcase.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
