Garrett Sanders is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Lexington, SC who attends River Bluff. Primary left-handed outfielder with a medium frame and athletic build. Fundamental actions on defense with sure hands on approach with a higher 3/4 slot on throws to the bases up to 74 mph. Full arm action on throws from young developing frame with an uphill release. Secondary left-handed pitcher with a high-hand set and medium arm swing behind to a higher slot. Ran the fastball up to 75 mph with natural cut glove side from higher slot. Short slider with tight spin and lateral break that he tunnels off the fastball in the high-60s. Repeatable delivery with movement on his pitches and zone control. Right-handed hitter with an even base and high hands starting point. Short knee lift trigger stride and separation with bat speed through the zone. Barrel awareness in the box with quick hands and line drive impact to all fields. Good student.
