Kyler Northrop is a 2024 SS/2B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Billings, MT who attends Billings Central Catholic. Lean, athletic build with good length that can fill out at the next level. Ran a 7.18 in the 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, solid showing up the middle with a quick arm from a whippier slot. Athletic actions to either side with good arm strength from multiple slots. Feel for the leather shows. Right-handed hitter, upright from a slightly open stance with a lower hand set up. Quick hands with jump off the barrel that showed in game. Quick hands match plane and show some strength at contact. Hard liners to both gaps along with a steady approach at the plate. Enticing ability that stood out. Excellent student.
