Jack Hanson is a 2020 OF/1B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Johnson. Large frame with an athletic and strong build. Ran a 7.12 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Moves with athletic strides in close to the ball and works through well maintaining direction. Fields to the side and into a quick and smooth exchange. Short steps through transfers and to a compact and quick release. Creates carry to the bag while keeping throws low and staying accurate at 82 MPH. Righthanded hitter with an even stance and hanging load for timing. Loose and extended swing through a flat path. Found the barrel with consistency. Solid line drive contact with jump to the deep parts of the field. Very good student as well. Named to the 2019 South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
