Julien Rivas is a 2019 OF/SS with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Somers, CT who attends Stafford. Large frame with projectable, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.99 seconds. Hits with leg lift trigger, gets lower half moving, has good bat speed on line drive swing plane, rotates well and torques hips, shows quality whole-field approach and executes it with good plate coverage and overall barrel skills. Primary outfielder, shows athleticism to footwork moving in, creates momentum through fielding actions, clocked up to 75 mph on throws. Also took infield reps, shows some footwork with range to both sides, quick release with throws clocked up to 71 mph across the diamond. Very good student.
