Anthony Huaranga is a 2028 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Nutley, NJ who attends St. Peter's Prep. Tall, physical build with well-proportioned strength throughout the frame. Left-handed hitter, medium base with a high back elbow in the stance, obvious bat speed and low effort impact to the pull-side with advanced strength for the age. Middle to pull approach with feel to leverage and performs well in game action. Primary third baseman, sound footwork working around the baseball, good glove presentation and fields with a two hand funnel out front, good arm strength across and throws come out of a high slot, generates carry across with accuracy to the bag, recorded throws up to 84 mph. Ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. Secondary outfielder, under control on the charge, breaks down and fields with one hand funnel, big arm strength on display here, recorded throws with accuracy up to 88 mph. Also worked out at first base, bounces off nicely with clean turns and fields it with one hand confidently. Fundamentally sound with similar arm strength we saw on the infield, recorded throws up to 84 mph. Selected to the 2024 14u PG Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
